How many campers are in a bunk together?

The cabins are rustic, three-sided outdoor structures scattered throughout the fields and forests. At Saltash Mountain, Timberlake and Firefly Song cabins house 6-8 campers with two staff.    At Tamarack Farm the cabins are grouped into "villages" of 3-4 cabins with a cabin of staff supervising the village. 

For their youngest campers at Barn Day Camp (ages 4-10), we organize campers into age-based groups of 10-12 campers, with 2-3 counselors for each group.

Since Farm & Wilderness emphasizes community living in a simple, rustic environment, these three-sided cabins provide an authentic wilderness experience while allowing campers to feel connected to nature. The cabin arrangements help foster the sense of community that is central to our philosophy.
