General and Specialty Staff: Our summer camp employs a diverse team of individuals to create a rich and supportive environment for our campers. We hire general summer counselors who play a crucial role in the daily lives of the campers; they eat, live, and engage in activities alongside them, fostering strong relationships and a sense of community. In addition to these general counselors, we also seek staff with specialized skills in various areas that enhance the camp experience.
Our specialized staff includes experts in farming, who teach campers about sustainable agriculture and the importance of caring for the environment. Trip leaders are responsible for guiding outdoor adventures, ensuring safety, and helping campers develop their navigation and teamwork skills. For those interested in hands-on activities, we have carpentry and construction specialists who instruct campers in building projects, promoting creativity and practical skills.
Adventure is a key component of our camp, and we employ certified rock climbing instructors who provide training and supervision, allowing campers to challenge themselves in a safe and controlled environment. Additionally, our kitchen staff is comprised of line cooks and head cooks, prepares nutritious meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that all campers are well-fed and energized for their daily activities.
